Masters of Science Forensics and Security Management
This course is ideal for those interested in cybercrimes, forensics and criminology. It is an interdisciplinary field which merges anthropology, sociology, psychiatry and law to explore the complexities of criminal behavior, punishment and victimization.
With the Master of Security and Crime Science, you will develop the skills required to become a leader in the security, intelligence and crime-prevention areasin the public and private sectors. The course takes 3 years only.

Entry Requirements
Be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Police Science, Military Science, and Criminology, Security studies and/or related discipline, with at least Upper Second-Class Honors or a cumulative Grade Points Average (GPA) of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00 from Dedan Kimathi University of Technology or any other University recognized and approved by the DeKUT Senate.
OR
Be a holder of a Bachelor Degree Police Science, Military Science, Criminology, Security studies and/or related discipline, with Lower Second Class Honors or a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 fromDedan Kimathi University of Technology or any other University recognized and approved by the Senate provided the candidate has relevant Postgraduate qualifications or relevant work experience of more than two (2) years.
OR
Be a holder of an equivalent qualification from other Technologyinstitutions recognized by the Senate as comparable academic qualification of Dedan Kimathi University, and approved by Senate. NB; Applicants who fail to meet the minimum admission requirements specified above may be required to appear for an interview by the department (either oral or written) to determine their eligibility into the programme.
