Student's Election - DeKUT Nairobi Campus

According to the University policy, students should have their leaders, elected by the students to represent them for one academic year. As Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (DeKUT) we have our board of student’s leadership known as DeKUTSO. The Director of Students Welfare facilitates the election of students’ leaders in conjunction with the Schools Committee and as DeKUT Nairobi Campus we also did participate in electing the student representative (Campus Secretary) on behalf of Nairobi Campus. Five delegates from CBD Nairobi Campus participated in the election held on

13th October 2019 where Two of them were elected by the Students as; Chris Wekesa and Joyce Kinoru who eventually Proceeded to the Main Campus for the Main General Election of the University where the Campus Secretary was elected by the Student Council and following the successful DeKUTSO elections held on 18th  October 2019, Joyce Wanjiku Kinoru emerged as the winner, Nairobi Campus Secretary.
